Maximus, to be honest, I don't know the answer. I would say it's a bug, given that it's canon that orange juice can do everything but bring yukkuris back from the dead (hell, sometimes it can). That said, I think it's a kink that hasn't been ironed yet.

Yeah, it does kinda seem like a bug, considering:
A. using the orange juice option under the tools menu DOES refill their hunger
B. Orange Ampules, and the Highly concentrated orange pool, actually DO revive dead yukkuri.(so long as their body is intact.)

EDIT: Also, is feeding a yukkuri Bitter food supposed to give them a case of diayurhea? just tested it on a Baby-yu, and it proceeded to shit like, 10 times in a row.

I noticed when a yukkuri is pregnant hunger goes up insanely fast now and the ko's almost always die before birth. For example the parent will eat go to the bathroom go back to eat and they'll be dead.

Hunger in general seems to be a big problem. Just started a new game and of the four stalk babies all died before being born and of the four live-birth babies that were born three have died of starvation even though there's always been food available.

i've found that accessories picked from the trash/accessories that can be given to Tarinai yus seem to be misaligned now.

at least in the juvenile stages.

Thats correct. It's because the old method of handling accessories was extraordinarily inefficient, so I rewrote the whole system, making possession of an enum rather than a bool. This means that we don't need resized versions of all the different accessories anymore (really just an issue for the trash ones like you mentioned) They need to be brought up to standard size, and then they should work fine, the engine will resize them as necessary once they match the others.

Bitter was always supposed to cause diarrhea, it just actually works now. It won't affect yukkuri who eat bitter food normally.

Not sure if this is a bug or not. Twice now i've seen nice reimus spontaneously turn into deibus. The ribbon appearing to come through their head too. I don't appear when buying or breeding.

I'm pretty sure that isn't a bug, but they have to start off as shithead types for that to happen.

    Java

Doesn't seem to be a Java7 capable file in the one in the op? Am I doing it right or is there some special 'computer voodoo' that I am not privy to? I would like to play but I have tried some dozens of times and I keep getting 'this app can't work on this PC' as an error message. It is starting to drive ma batty trying to work out why and where I am going wring. I hope you can help me out here.

Little word of advice: cut the stalk before your cockroach mates with another of its kind. My victi- er, pets, all give birth the "mammalian" way. They go hungry just the same and the only possibility of death the kos will face is when they're being pumped out, just like stalk babies but without the initial danger of rotting out of lack of food. Either way I prefer mammalian birth, it makes it more delicious to abuse them when they're pregnant without your consent.

That is correct. If you purchase a Reimu and it's a shithead there's a great chance it'll turn into a Deibu. Oddly enough I've purchased Reimus in the recently released Hiatus version that turn out to be Deibus with Average nature - I reared one long enough that it even turned into a nice yukkuri. I can provide screenshot evidence of this.

EDIT: The overlapping ribbon on Deibu's face can be fixed by removing and giving back the accessory.

Deibus are considered an entirely different species by he game than reimu (this is a holdover from shitaraba) It would be trivial to write in a function that swaps from deibu to reimu above a certain attitude level.

Theres a chance of purchasing a deibu when you purchase a reimu by bad luck, but theres no function to alter attitude state to match the switch, so that was my mess up, its an easy fix tho.

The overlapping accessory thing is caused by the same issue that causes junk accessories to be the wrong size. Just needs a function written in that checks accessory scaling when ageState changes.

It's definitely java. Did any previous version work? What operating system are you using, whats your system locale etc? You can try using app locale japan if you are on windows and that might work, not really certain what the actual issue is tho.

^Why we can't have nice things...

Also, no one answered my earlier question:
Anyone know the answer, or will I have to wait for Eternity to get back?

It was intentional because orange juice pools have been breaking all pathfinding since mimisuke's version. It made sense to nerf the ampoules as well since they essentially made invincible super yukkuri. Orange juice tool was left untouched because it has a per use cost and isn't constant. Honestly, I really wanted to remove the orange ampoule altogether since its basically god mode, but I figured someone would miss it, so I left it in.

The starving babies thing is unrelated, and is the result of untested changes to hunger levels, food amounts and time rate. Like I said, you're essentially using a beta build if you're on the latest. All max hungers were dramatically reduced so yukkuri eat more often rather than once a week. (Though they don't get hungry more often per say, the percent merely climbs faster. i.e. instead of 50% being 50/100, its now 25/50)

There (may) be one quick bug fix update this weekend if I have time.

I should've specified: the Deibu remains a Deibu (species-wise) but it has a nice attitude when kept well fed and cleaned. I didn't mean to say it turns back into a Reimu, I apologize. I have seen Reimus turn to Deibus upon purchase, though.

i ended up not translating eiki because it turned out that she was one of the yukkuris who just said the same thing over and over again, which i think we're going to hold off for last.
i'm currently helping with and tidying remirya_j and planning to work on ayaya_j next

I know, I'm thinking of allowing deibus to be tamed into reimus however.

It was planned but never implemented during time. I think that yukkuri pick out favorite but don't do anything special with them atm.

Resizing bug fixed, the code for it is frankly terrible, but it works, so meh. There was apparently no way to detect agechanges -_-. So it just instantly takes away and returns the same accessory to force a resize, takes place midframe, so there shouldnt be any visible notice, and it happens in a local loop, so no other yukkuri should notice. Feel free to look for bugs when i put it up though.
